Meet Our Chief Medical Officer

We’re honoured to welcome Ken Duckworth, MD to the Doro Mind team. Dr. Ken will serve as our Chief Medical Officer, bringing 40 years of experience working with people living with psychosis and their families.
Dr. Ken is double board-certified in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry and is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He retired this summer as the Chief Medical Officer of NAMI after 23 years of service.
We are not only excited about Dr. Ken's wealth of clinical expertise but also his dedication to championing families throughout the process. His work spans direct care, advocacy, and community work with individuals and families from all walks of life.
Dr. Ken is coming out of retirement to join Doro Mind because we are single-mindedly focused on advancing what he cares most about: supporting people in getting the best care.
Like many of us at Doro Mind, Dr. Ken has his own family connection to SMI, which led him to dedicate his career to helping individuals and families find what works. He is also a longstanding advocate for clozapine.
