    Clare Jibb, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Clare Jibb, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a nurse practitioner at Doro Mind, where she brings decades of experience in psychiatric care, both in the U.S. and the U.K., to her work with individuals and families facing serious mental illness. Clare's practice is grounded in compassionate, trauma-informed care and her ability to meet patients where they are, whether that means de-escalating a crisis, helping a young person build trust in treatment, or coaching a caregiver through a difficult transition. At Doro Mind, she provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and care planning.

Clare began her career in the United Kingdom working in youth development and residential care for young people in the foster system. These formative years taught her the value of therapeutic relationships, creative expression, and strong interprofessional collaboration. She later trained as a nurse in the U.S., working across behavioral health units, partial hospitalization programs, youth shelters, and residential treatment centers. She has held positions at Four Winds Hospital, Nyack Hospital, the Center for Discovery, and Haven House, among others, providing care in acute inpatient settings, admissions coordination, community outreach, and clinical education.

Clare earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University and is board-certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She is known among colleagues and families alike for her warmth, creativity, and relentless advocacy.
