Inspiring stories of recovery from Into The Light

When it comes to SMI there is so much that science has proven about what works - yet the medical practice and patient access to treatment lag behind. The new film, Into the Light: Meaningful Recovery from Psychosis, will fill you with new hope for recovery and arm you with the hard evidence we need to make change. This is an eye opening exploration with powerful personal stories interwoven in with insights from leading medical professionals.

The creation of Into The Light was sponsored by Team Daniel (a 501c3 non-profit). The film features Doro Mind medical director, Dr. Robert Laitman, as well as his son, Daniel Laitman who share details of families personal journey when Daniel was diagnosed with schizophrenia. They highlight the transformative power of finding proper treatment with clozapine and uncover the barriers that many other face in access to the right care. Following Daniels recovery, Dr. Robert Laitman and his wife, Dr. Ann Mandel, have worked tirelessly to serve patients and families affected by psychosis with life saving new treatment approaches. This film is a chance to meet those families as well as learn from leading experts on the state-of-the-art approaches to psychosis treatment.

Narrated by Brooke Adams and Tony Shalhoub, this is a message of hope and real help.
